The Chabad Jewish Student Center has been serving Jewish university students from Tulane, Loyola and UNO since the fall of 1975. Now under the directorship of Rabbi Yochanan and Sarah Rivkin, Chabad is a home away from home for the students, offering them a wide array of programs and services. Construction has been completed on the brand new, state-of-the-art Rohr Chabad Jewish Student Center located next door at 7033 Freret St. The new center includes a sanctuary, kitchen and dining facility, recreation and study lounges, library and more.
