Rosh Hashanah Reservations

  • We, at Chabad, are determined to help you make this holiday season your most meaningful and inspirational yet!

    We are happy to announce that we will be offering several safe, in-person, inspirational High Holiday Services. As always, everyone is welcome, and no membership or fees are required to join. Location: Btesh Family Chabad House - 7037 Freret St.

    Full Service
    Traditional, inspirational services as we do every year: This includes all the Rosh Hashanah evening (6:45 pm) and morning (10 am) prayers, Torah readings, sermons, and Shofar. These services will be held indoors, with masks and proper social spacing. Reservations are required due to safety protocols, for spacing purposes. Children 10 and over are welcome to sit with an adult. Space is limited and will be assigned on a first come (with RSVP) basis. 

    First Night Apple & Honey Kiddush
    Following services on Friday night, Sep 18, we will offer an individually portioned brief Kiddush and apples & honey with social distancing. This will be held indoors with masks and proper spacing. Reservations are required due to safety protocols, for spacing purposes. Space is limited and will be assigned on a first come (with RSVP) basis. 

    Shofar Service (Second Day Rosh Hashanah)
    On Sunday, Sep 20 at 3:30 pm we will offer a (20-30 minute) Shofar service. Children will be welcome together with an adult. This service will be held indoors, with masks and proper social spacing. Reservations are required due to safety protocols, for spacing purposes. Space is limited and will be assigned on a first come (with RSVP) basis. 

    Shofar and Tashlich in the Park (Second Day of Rosh Hashanah)
    On Sunday, Sep 20 at 5 pm we will offer an outdoor Shofar and Tashlich service near the Audubon Park Lagoon (close to the corner of St. Charles and Walnut). Open to all ages.

    Praying at Home
    Let us know of you would like to borrow a Rosh Hashanah prayer book and/or have a volunteer come by to sound the Shofar for you on day 2.
