Hebrew Reading Course
Learn to pray in the language of
Abraham, Moses and King
David
The next Hebrew Reading Crash Course will be offered on five Mondays beginning Monday, August 15 @ 7:30 PM.
Reading the Hebrew language is one the most important elements of advancing one’s Jewish involvement. Whether it’s the desire to pray in the original, read the Torah as it was dictated by G-d, or to read the many Jewish works that have not been translated, many people are looking to expand their horizons with the ability to read the holy tongue.
It is in response to this popular demand that Chabad Lubavitch of Louisiana offers a five part course on Hebrew reading this fall. Each class lasts for 1.5 hours. The course is taught by Rabbi Mendel Rivkin at Chabad House - 1216 Freret St.
The cost for the complete course is $36, which covers all materials and textbooks. The course is targeted at beginners and those who wish to brush up on their reading. It does not cover comprehension or conversation.
For more info on the course please contact Rabbi Mendel Rivkin.
